The Department of IT, Ycce organized a one day Industrial visit to TCS Mihan

The Department of Information Technology, Yeshwantwaro Chavan College of Engineering, YCCE organized a one day Industrial visit to TCS Mihan Nagpur , on 17 th September   2018 for 3 rd Year Students of    Information Technology students.   Visit was organized by Mr. S. S. Chavhan, with the prior permission and guidance of Principal Dr. U. P. Waghe. It was supported by Respected HOD Prof. Rajesh Dharmik and Departmental teaching staff Members Mr. S. W. Shende and Mrs. P. G. Jaiswal. Total 54 students from third year IT and 3 Faculty Members has visited TCS Nagpur.   The students were welcomed by Mr. Sachin Asatkar and Mayank Jasore, Human Resources, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. As per Schedule provided for visit, Mr. Arvind Kumar gave a brief introduction about TCS. He narrated briefly how TCS was born and today where it stands in the industry. Department Established AVEVA Center of Excellence in collaboration with AVEVA Information Technology India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai at Mechanical Engineering Department, YCCE Nagpur. Plant design software training programs is the prominent feature. AVEVA contributed by providing software costing about 5 Cr. and YCCE provided the required hardware and infrastructure.
