The Department of IT, Ycce organized a one day Industrial visit to TCS Mihan

The Department of Information Technology, Yeshwantwaro Chavan College of Engineering, YCCE organized a one day Industrial visit to TCS Mihan Nagpur, on 17^th September  2018 for 3^rd Year Students of   Information Technology students.

 Visit was organized by Mr. S. S. Chavhan, with the prior permission and guidance of Principal Dr. U. P. Waghe. It was supported by Respected HOD Prof. Rajesh Dharmik and Departmental teaching staff Members Mr. S. W. Shende and Mrs. P. G. Jaiswal. Total 54 students from third year IT and 3 Faculty Members has visited TCS Nagpur.

 The students were welcomed by Mr. Sachin Asatkar and Mayank Jasore, Human Resources, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. As per Schedule provided for visit, Mr. Arvind Kumar gave a brief introduction about TCS. He narrated briefly how TCS was born and today where it stands in the industry. TCS basically works on the expectations that a customer has from a service provider. The key factors like Results, Partnership and Leadership. He also explained how TCS has made itself in all walks of service providing and consultancy. TCS is the part of the Tata Empire and is helping the Tata Group with Research and Development activities for many decades. It mostly handles projects from across the world that is a large way of bringing foreign economy to India.

Further Mr. Pawan Chauhan talk on IOT and its application in various fields and Mr. Prasana Deshpande brief us on Design Thinking, agile and Automation which is used in various projects. They gave introduction on Current Changes/Trends in Technology and platform scenarios in the era of Software revolution.

All the speakers answered various questions asked by the students.  Mr.Sachin Asatkar also talked about the infrastructure of TCS and How they have maintained high level of security in all terms of TCS but they were also reluctant to answer some questions due to security reasons.
